About me

I started playing music in fifth grade with my elementary school band program, making this my tenth year of percussion experience. I also played marimba in the front ensemble of my high school’s marching band for 4 years, and played the jazz vibraphone in my high school big band for 4 semesters. I started learning the drum set in my freshman year of high school, and played for the big band, 2 of my high school’s musicals, as well as several local rock bands and church gigs through high school. I also played two concert cycles with the Thornton Community Concert Band.

I am now studying commercial music with an emphasis in drumset at Colorado Mesa University, where I have played big band, commercial, choral, and chamber music. I am also learning piano and am in my third semester of music theory, giving me a broad base of knowledge to help all students achieve their musical goals, from beginners to advanced students.
